July 3rd message

Happy 4th of July Wahoos!

It is hard to believe that we are coming up on the 5th swim meet of the season! This will be a big one as we host one of the largest teams in the league, the Kanawha Firefish. We are expecting between 170-200 swimmers and their families...that means we will need everyone's help to run it as smoothly as the we did at the first home meet. If for any reason you or your swimmer will not be able to be at this meet, please send me a note ASAP.

REMINDERS
* Photographer and Wahoo Dad, Robert Smith, has graciously agreed to take the Wahoo team photo prior to the meet on Monday, July 7th at 5:00pm SHARP. Please have your swimmers and divers (AND COACHES) in their suits and plan to arrive a few minutes early to get in place. If you would like to have individual photos taken of your children, please make arrangements with Mr. Smith by emailing him at rsmithphoto@verizon.net.

* The Woodmont Swim and Dive Team Banquet, sponsored by Outback Steakhouse, will be held at St. Edward's Church on the evening of July 22nd. Visit our website for more information www.woodmont4fun.com

* Information regarding the final swim and dive meets of the season, as well as Championship info will be forwarded as soon as it is received. Stay tuned.

* Congratulations to Meg Anderson and Danny Welborn who were Triple Place Winners in last Monday's meet against Ridgetop.

Good Luck to our Dive Team and Coaches as they face the Midlothian YMCA dive team this afternoon. Go Wahoos!
