May 7th email

Hello Everyone,

We need your assistance today.

Please forward the attached flyer regarding the big Woodmont Wahoo Rummage Sale to your friends, colleagues and family members ASAP. In addition, it would be extremely helpful if you could download the ad, make some copies and post at your church, library, school, health club, grocery store, business, coffee shop, favorite restaurants, etc by this Sunday. We need to get the word out now.

Hopefully, you have dusted off some of your attic treasures for the sale. Drop off times for donations will be held at the pool:

Sunday, May 11th, 11am-2pm

Tuesday, May 13th, 6-8pm

Wednesday, May 14th, 6-8pm

Thursday, May 15th, 6-8pm

Friday, May 16th, 6-8pm--drop off for rummage sale items and bake sale goods.

Saturday, May 17th, 6am-1pm.

Please dust/clean off your items and tag them with a sale price. Bake sale items will go quickly. Cookies, cakes, bread, pies, etc. can be delivered the morning of the sale at 7am or the Friday evening before.

We need volunteers to help Thursday and Friday evenings from 6pm-9pm to prepare items for the sale and on Saturday, May 17th, from 6am-1pm to help set up and sell items. Please send a note to Robin Proffitt at
4guysandagal@comcast.net to let her know what hours you can work on any of these dates. Participation is required by every family for this fundraising activity.

If you have any questions, please reply to this email or call Cathy or Tracey Welborn at 272-7097.

See you soon!

Greetings Wahoo Friends,

We hope you and your families are well and having a great year so far. It’s hard to believe, but summer is just around the corner. The Woodmont Wahoo Aquatic Committee is busy gearing up for its 40 th season of family fun and fitness and would like to share some important information with you.

WRA MEMBERSHIP FORMS

Woodmont Recreation Association pool membership forms have been mailed. If you or your new neighbors/friends have not received this form, please visit the website at
www.woodmont4fun.com/pool.htm.

WAHOO SWIM & DIVE TEAM REGISTRATION forms can be downloaded from the website at www.woodmont4fun.com . Team sign-ups will take place Saturday, April 26th from 10am-2pm at the pool. New swim suit apparel sign ups/info will be available that day as well. Please bring registration forms with you.

WAHOO RUMMAGE & BAKE SALE --SAVE THE DATE!

Fundraising is key to maintaining our wonderful teams. This year we are trying something new and need your help and your treasures! On Saturday, May 17 th (8am-1pm), the Wahoos will host a Rummage & Bake Sale at the pool.

We are asking everyone (and their neighbors/parents/friends) to donate those items that are no longer of use and that are taking up prime real estate space in closets, attics and garages. We are considerately asking for items that are in good condition and that have real potential to sell. Please, no clothes except quality children’s clothing. If you have any large items, such as furniture or sporting equipment, please deliver these items on the morning of the sale (we will be there at 6am). If this cannot be arranged, send us a note and we will try to find a way to get it there. All other items can be dropped off at the pool beginning the day of swim/dive team registration (April 26th). Additional May drop-off dates/times will be sent in follow-up emails coming soon.

Right now, we ask that you begin gathering items and pricing them in advance (stick-on dots are fine). Many volunteers will be needed to make this event a success. Let us know if you can help on this day by offering to set up or break down, providing sales assistance and/or by making baked goods. We will continue to send updates regarding this big event. Thank you for marking your calendars and getting those items ready!

SWIM/DIVE SEASON SCHEDULE

Please check our website www.woodmont4fun.com for practice and meet schedules and for other fun summer events including the second TEEN SPRING FLING hosted by the Woodmont Teen Committee. The website is updated regularly, so check it often.

If you have any questions, just send us a note. You can reach us by email at WoodmontWahoos@aol.com or by calling 272-7097. See you soon!
