Make sure they get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids between now and the end of the week. You will be able to buy a heat sheet booklet at the meet to determine which heat your swimmer will be in. Last year the book was approx $5. All proceeds go to the Senior Scholarship Fund. There will also be plenty of food on sale in concessions at the meet if you do not want to carry a cooler. Don't forget sunscreen--we will be under a tent, but still out in a parking lot, hopefully under sunny skies! One last thing...make sure your kids get to practice tomorrow --if they have questions for Mike or Meg, now's the time to ask.

We wish your swimmers all the best of luck and look forward to seeing you under the Woodmont Tent this Thursday.

Our final Home Meet is coming up next Monday, July 6th. Many of you will be out of town (Walter, Ertel, Garofolo, Davis, Cario, Campbell (Stuart & Caroline), Holt, Garman, Kaskey), and so we are in need a few extra hands, especially in hospitality. If you are not scheduled, please let me know if you can help out. If your name is not listed above and you will not be here, please let me know ASAP as we are putting the final touches on the adjusted worker schedule. An update will be sent mid week.

SAVE THE DATES:

1. The WAHOO SWIM & DIVE BANQUET sponsored by Outback Steakhouse will be held at Huguenot Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 6pm. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children. This is our big fundraiser of the season, so please save the date for your family and friends. Info regarding ticket sales will go out later this week.

2. Reminder: Pull out your gently used books, DVDs and CDs and get them to Anne Adkins for the WAHOO BOOK & DVD SALE which will be held July 11th and 12th at the pool. More info about this event can be found on our website at www.woodmont4fun.com under special events.

Thanks for all of your support in making this another memorable swim and dive season for our kids. Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
